Frequently Asked Questions
Where does Junya Watanabe sit relative to Comme des Garçons?
It is a separate label produced under the Comme des Garçons house, with its own shows and its own following. Collectors treat the two archives as related but distinct.
What should I check on a pre-owned Junya Watanabe piece?
The construction is the value — panelled seams, pleating and hardware. Check the photographs of the seams and any technical fastenings, since these are what a repair cannot easily restore.
Is the Junya Watanabe piece authenticated?
Each pre-owned Junya Watanabe listing can be professionally verified for authenticity and quality, with optional independent third-party authentication before purchase.
What condition can I expect from pre-owned Junya Watanabe?
Each listing shows a clear condition grade — from pristine, never-worn pieces to gently used — with detailed photos, and every piece can be professionally verified before purchase.
How can I pay for a pre-owned Junya Watanabe piece?
Pay securely by card, or split the cost interest-free with Tabby or Tamara. Every order ships with tracked delivery across the UAE and worldwide.
Can I return a pre-owned Junya Watanabe piece?
Pieces are sold as-is with no manufacturer warranty. If an authenticated item doesn’t match its description, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and, once confirmed, we send a prepaid return label and a full refund. You can also relist a piece within 3 days of delivery (no commission, only up to a 3% payment fee). Otherwise sales are final; customs duties and return shipping are non-refundable.
Does Libas Collective ship Junya Watanabe outside the UAE?
Yes. Libas Collective is based in the UAE and ships worldwide with tracked delivery, alongside UAE and GCC deliveries.
How do I care for a Junya Watanabe piece?
The value sits in the seams and the engineered panels, so avoid anything that stresses them — no machine washing, no wringing, and hang heavy coats on a broad hanger so the shoulders keep their line. Treat technical fastenings as you would hardware, not fabric.
