Where the serial sits on a Rodeo, City or Hourglass
Balenciaga does not put the number in the same place on every bag, which is why so many searches ask about one model specifically. On the Rodeo and the City, look for a small leather tab inside the bag rather than anything on the exterior — most commonly inside or immediately behind the interior zip pocket, sewn along one edge so it sits flat against the lining. On the Hourglass the tab is again interior, and on some production it is stitched into the pocket seam itself.
Two things matter more than the exact spot. The tab should be leather of the same quality and tone as the lining, stitched in rather than glued, with the number impressed into the surface rather than printed on it.
