Is there a Panerai serial number lookup or registration service?

No. Panerai maintains no public lookup where a serial number can be entered to verify a watch, and no registration portal that confirms authenticity from engraving alone. The manufacture can check a timepiece against its own internal records when it comes in through an authorised service centre — a channel for servicing and provenance questions, not a counterfeit screen for buyers.
